Who was that guy?
A dialogue.
Chapter 1
I was in bed with my wife last night. We had been together for 15 years, married for 10. She is an amazing woman, and we have great chemistry. We were even each other's firsts in, well, everything. We have always been meant to be - we're soulmates, if you believe in that sort of thing. I don't really, but somehow that description always suited us and what we have.
Things are great now but it weren't that way all the time; we can sort of get crabby with one another here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary for any two people so in love. Things like that happen, and they can either be ruinous, or, makes the both of you evaluate each other and the state you've found yourselves in - perhaps even for the better.
With all the arguments, misunderstandings, and fights we've had over the years I would say, had only made our love stronger. Although undeniably they too have set us back a huge bit. We were and still are people that don't believe that there's a special someone out there waiting for you - a soulmate - but if you work hard enough and try hard enough on a relationship, it might just work. It might even go the distance.
We didn't always make it work. Being each other's firsts when I was 19 and she was 18, we were bound to face mishaps, challenges, and mistakes both in and out of our control. We were so very young, so naive, and somisguidedwith both our notions of what love is or ought to be, that for the longest...

Description: 22 year old man, in a loving and committed relationship with my girlfriend of 5 years.
First time writer of, well, anything, really. Just doing this for fun, and sort of basing my work on the conversations, topics, and open-minded discussions I've had with my girlfriend.
