I walked towards her and stopped just beside where she was seated.
I held out my hand and she looked at me. Then I smiled at her. She raised an eyebrow.

"Can we dance?" I asked.

She looked at the other lady sitting beside her. Then to her other friends in that same table. Then she looked at me again.

"Please? Just one song." I pleaded.

Then I smiled again. She took my hand and I helped her up.

I was holding her hand as we walked to the dance floor.
I then placed both my hands by her waist and she rested hers on my shoulders.
I looked at her eyes but she got shy and looked behind. To where their table at.
Her friends just smiled at her.

Then the music started...

You give your hand to me,
and then you say hello.
And I can hardly speak,
my heart is beating so.
And anyone can tell,
you think you know me well.
Well, you don't know me...

We started to sway.
I told her she looked so pretty. Then she looked at me.
I stared at her and she also stared back at me.

Then it suddenly felt like everything around us stopped. It's like everyone else had disappeared.

There was just me and her.
And the music...

No, you don't know the one who dreams of you at night.
And longs to kiss your lips,
and longs to hold you tight.
Oh, I'm just a friend,
that's all I've ever been.
Cause you don't know me...

Nasa isang silid na kami ng isang hotel. Nakaupo sya sa kama at ako naman ay naglakad palapit matapos isara ang pinto.
I looked at her and our gazes met.

"Hmmm?" I'm wordless.

"What?" She asked.

"La lang." I replied.

I sat down beside her.
I can feel she's nervous and so am I. This isn't my first time at alam kong ganun din sya. But it felt like there's an invisible thin wall between us.
We're both shy.

I laid my back on the bed at lumingon sya sakin. She's still sitting.
I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Hug naman." I said.
I need to break this wall.

"Sure." She replied.

She laid down beside me, laid her head on my chest and wrapped her right arm around me.
I also wrapped mine onto her. I can hear her breathing; she can feel my heartbeat.

Silence again...

I kissed her hair, inhaled its gentle scent.
She burried her left cheek deeper into my chest.

"Why do I feel like I've known you all my life?" I whispered.

"I feel the same..." She whispered back.

I raised her head and stared at her beautiful face.
Trying to memorize each detail. Each lines. Each curves...

Her forehead, eyebrows and eyelashes.
Her eyes; its color, its gaze.
Her nose, her cheeks, her lips, her chin...

I've only known her moments ago. But it felt like she's been a part of my life s...
