There she was standing in front of the mirror, in her wedding dress, a smile plastered on her face. Soon, it's time to walk down the aisle. Her wedding dress was made of a lace bodice with a sweetheart neckline and A-line silk skirt. A red silk sash, drawn to a ribbon at the side, was tied to accentuate her waist. She looked ethereal with her hair swept to gather at the side and tied into a loose bun. Curly tendrils framed her angelic face and a tiara finished the look. She took her bouquet of blue roses and checked her reflection in the mirror one last time. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. A soft knock brought her back to her senses. She turned toward the sound and nodded at the person. It is time.

She went out of the room and heard the soft music playing. It was their favorite song. She smiled weakly. That song was the song she chose when they started becoming lovers. It was perfect for him. It described how he was to her and still how he is until now. She told herself to calm down and swallowed back her tears. Waiting for her to walk down the aisle was her father. He looked rather sad but still he smiled. She understood his sadness and just smiled back at him.

And now, with her hand on her father's arm, they walked toward the front, to where the man of her dreams is waiting. The man she will pledge her love and life for. The man she will live with until they grow old. The man she will be with for the rest of her life, until her last breath.
