The stars are truly amazing...
Their glow, ever-so blazing.
Let me tell you a story...
Of a fallen glory.

Once, there was a man.
Hollow, as a can.
Clearly broken,
but still a shining token.

He saw the world for what it is..
Full of monsters, longing for a kiss.
Hearts, broken in half.
Tears, hiding in a laugh.

To him, the world was full of folly.
A lie, hiding in the jolly.
But with hate,
he saw fate.

Each passer-by,
became a tale of lie.
He saw the frown,
covered in a golden crown.

He understood,
that there is no good.
For the monsters we fear,
are rather quite near.

They are inside,
grinning quite wide.
For those that we feared before,
are the true monsters of yore.

The man was right,
the world was with no light.
The stars shined bright,
but it offered us no sight.

Tis' a fine night,
to drown and write.
Let me tell you a story,
that's the summary of a "sorry."

Once, there was a lad.
Smart, yet sad.
Logic ruled his heart.
In reason, he found art.

At some point,
their paths became joint.
Emotions, he felt.
His reason was easily melt.

A new meaning,
he found outside reasoning.
Fearful, yet not a knave.
He stood tall, pretty brave.

It was a gift from above,
this thing called "love".
He threw away his glove.
Free, like a dove.

After years,
love turned to tears.
Youth became dry.
All they could do was cry.


Both of them made a sin,
yet no one could ever win.
Love turned to ashes.
hugs felt like rashes.

They both tried to fix it,
but the fire was no linger lit.
The monster dwell.
The castle fell....
