How did you come up with your screen name?
My ex-boyfriend helped me with it. “Frey” was actually part of his name. It’s also quite catchy so I decided to stick with it. The name really stuck, especially with the Premiere Vixens tilt.
When did you start needing a screen name?
I started modeling in 2009 but it was only when my agent opened up the idea of joining the Premiere Vixens search that I decided to take the sexy route.
Does having a pretty face and a sexy body help or hinder you from finding your special someone?
Sometimes, it’s much harder to find a serious relationship when you have a nice physique. Some guys really like to play coy with their real intentions. Pero natuto na rin ako at alam ko na kung seryoso siya o hindi. It’s the way he treats you. Kapag yung guy, niyaya ako sa kung saansaan, like, “Punta tayo sa place ko,” alam ko na kaagad kung anong intention niya.
You have 18,000-plus fans on your Facebook page. Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola only have 12,000-plus. How do you manage that much followers?
Ha ha! I treat my Facebook followers as friends. I never call them fans but friends. I always tell them to approach me whenever they see me at my modeling gigs. Some of them are really sweet. Para nga raw bakla yung boses ko. There are even times nagda-dalawang isip yung mga kumukuha sa akin for modeling rakets pag kausap nila ako sa phone. Parang, “Pare, papupuntahin pa ba natin ito?” Ha ha!

Feminine? Yung parang pa-tweetums na boses? Eh ganito naman talaga ako so bakit ko babaguhin, di ba? Although, siyempre, pag may mga party at ang kausap ko ay medyo to the highest level ang brains, tumatahimik naman ang lola mo kasi baka ma-get lost. Pero kaya ko naman sila. Kaya lang once binuksan ko na yung bibig ko dire-diretso na ko.
We were told that you used to do the sexy-but-safe kind of modeling. When did you start going bolder?
Sa Vixens lang. Ang shoots ko before naka-shorts, ni walang babaan ng bra strap. As in talagang super smile lang. Probinsiyana kasi ako eh and malaking angkan yung pinanggalingan ko.
Where are you from?
Santiago City, Isabella! Lahat ng tao yata roon issue sa kanila itong ginagawa ko.
How so?
Ito na lang, just this May kinuha ako doong mag-Reyna Elena. Nakiusap sila sa daddy ko kaya pumayag ako. But andaming nag-react after I did it. Naging parang talk of the town ako. Merong sumusuporta sa akin, meron ding ayaw.

We’re told that you’re a much sought-after model back in Shanghai but you’re very picky with the shoots you do. Why is that?
I only take offers that I think are serious. I like modeling, but only those that are only a little sexy, like just tight dresses and tight skirts. Not anything too sexy!
If that’s the case, how were you convinced to do this shoot?
Because I know the magazine and I have browsed the pictures on your website. I also saw the portfolio [of your photographer, Aaron Ebio]. And, well, you guys agreed that I wear my own bikinis.
What kind of bikinis do you like?
I like colorful ones. I don’t like small ones, ha ha!
Are you fond of wearing it outside of shoots?
No. There are a lot of people doing it so I don’t want to try it anymore, ha ha! Also, I don’t often do bikini shoots in Shanghai.

Are you a gamer?
Yes. I’m a professional gamer…not! I just play a lot.
What other games do you play?
I like shooting games, violent ones. And I love zombies! It’s cool. Ha ha!

We hear you take up Electronics and Communications Engineering. Why ECE?
Engineering is more challenging. In high school two years akong nag-work sa school paper as a journalist kaya gusto ko iba naman yung field na pasukin ko.
Have you been doing well in your classes?
I'm really enjoying it, but the shift was a little tricky because there was suddenly too much math and science. My classes run the loop of telecommunications, industrial electronics, instrumentation, and systems analysis… it goes on. Modeling also keeps me busy, but I get by. Time management is key.
What do you do to get away from all the stress?
I like food-tripping. Yes, I love to eat and eat and eat, ha ha ha! I spend most of my allowance on food kaya I'm always broke. Ha ha ha! Sometimes naman, I just jive into music and can't help myself to dance, even if it’s just on Timezone and on Dance Revolution.
Between classes, where do you usually hang out?
Kung saan-saan. Pero most of the time, puro sa kainan, ha ha! Minsan din, after our classes, the cinemas. And then right after seeing a movie, we go to karaoke hubs. I love to sing. I'm the karaoke queen!
Do you have a boyfriend?
It’s complicated! Ha ha! Single naman ako, pero, parang may something.
What do you like most in men?
I want smart guys. Pinaka-gu...
